My Journey


I came to design from a background in research (Biology) and education, where I frequently used my problem-solving skills, empathy, and unconventional thinking.

I have always been passionate about design and its role in shaping the world around us, and I often expressed my creativity through visual ads and motion graphics design. 

Now, I enjoy designing products that help users achieve their goals while generating positive feelings and creating great experiences.

In my free time, I like to read, play the piano or the guitar, hang out with friends, and cycle.

Skills

UX Research & Analysis

Using research tools such as Competitive Benchmarking, Survey building, Usability Testing, etc. to understand user needs and come up with innovative design solutions.

UX design

Designing the overall architecture of products and the layouts of the screens including copy, information architecture, visual hierarchy, and interactions.

Figma | Adobe XD | Proto.io:

Using prototyping tools to create user flows, sitemaps, navigation schemes, wireframes, and high-fidelity mock-ups/prototypes.

Agile

Using development management tools such as Jira in addition to team-based approaches such as Lean UX to promote goal alignment.

Front-End Design

Annotating Designs & creating guideline documentation for software engineers, as well as, creating front-end designs using HTML5 and CSS3.

Collaborating with developers, promoting empathy among stakeholders, and demonstrating how proposed design solutions are expected to fulfill business goals.

I was responsible for leading a team of 5 trainees and guiding them through the UX process to collaborate on building a high-fidelity prototype.

I was part of the Technical Department working with the Design Team where I played an essential role and achieved impressive results. I worked on design enhancements for several REV Websites, namely, Dressbarn.com, Pier1.com, and Modells.com.
